Look! An opportunity to nominate someone for a chance at free admittance to the upcoming Celtic Ball on March 25th!

What is this?

Recently a friend of the Celtic Ball expressed their desire to bless this community by sponsoring several students who, due to the financial burden, might otherwise not be able to attend. Everyone involved will remain anonymous and the recipients of the free spots will be contacted via email by me, Elaina Moore.

I know everyone would like a free spot, but it is our hope that these few spots go to students who will truly be blessed by this financial help. Please consider this when you make a nomination. Thank you!

It’s time!

Registration for the March 25th Celtic Ball opens today and will close when it’s full or on Feb. 22nd.  Ages 13 and up, alumni welcome!

Click on the link, fill out the form, and then send your payment. We’re not sending confirmation numbers out this time, but you will receive an email from google when you submit the form. Each person who wishes to attend needs to fill out the form individually, please. For parents filling out the form for multiple attendees, feel free to use the same email address if needed. You may pay via one check or one Paypal transaction.

2023 Celtic Ball Dates and Announcements

Hello friends!

I’m excited to finally let you know that I have details to share!

The Celtic Ball – Saturday, March 25th 2023 at the beautiful Columbus Athenaeum ($50 per registration)

This will be our first time in this venue and I’m thrilled to say that it’s quite a bit larger than where we’ve held the dance before. Many more of you will be able to attend! We still do have limited space however, so be sure to sign up quickly when registration opens on February 1st! Registration will close when it’s full or on Feb. 22nd.

We will also be hosting a Celtic Ball in the fall or winter of 2023, details to come this summer.

The Celtic Gala – Saturday, July 8th 2023 at the lovely and historic Station 67 Venue in Columbus

I’m especially excited to announce this new event! For the first time, we’re hosting a Celtic Gala! This event will mirror the Ball in many ways, but is for adults only! (18+) We’ve been wanting to try this for years and have had enough requests lately that we feel it’s a good time to make it happen. This dance is for Celtic ball alumni, Celtic ball parents, or any adults who would enjoy a fun and formal evening of dancing, food, and community. It’ll be a perfect date night, group event, or come alone and make some friends! More info to come when registration opens in May. Can’t wait to see you there!

Autumn Celtic Ball Registration 2022

November 2022 Celtic Ball Announcement

Hello everyone,

I hope you all are enjoying your summer so far!

We’re excited to let you know that the next Celtic Ball is booked for Saturday, November 19th, 2022! 

Registration for that dance will be open for the month of October. We hope to streamline the registration process on our end a bit so be on the lookout for a new way to register. 

Looking forward to 2023, we plan to always host two balls a year, most likely in the spring and then around Christmas time as life and personal/venue availability allow. More on that later!

Spring Celtic Ball Happening May 14th, 2022!

We have an announcement to hopefully help take your mind off the less-than-beachlike winter weather! 😉


The next Ball will be on May 14th, 2022! Registration will open April 1st and run through the end of the month so watch your inbox for that information, and sign up for our website email blast if you haven’t already here: Join our mailing list.


The previous posts about a May 21st date are no longer valid as we had to find another venue due to covid concerns. The May 14th Ball will take place at the Makoy Center in Hilliard.

We have an event we’d like to share with you. Below is information about a Masquerade Ball happening January 8th! I’ll let Mariah speak for herself, see quote and links below.


My name is Mariah French, I am a homeschool mom to 9 and director of Xclaim Dance Company and Arts school. Our kids have attended Celtic in the past and we also have many friends who have been in attendance. We are putting on a Masquerade Ball January 8th. It is an event similar in nature to Celtic, but with Renaissance Courtier & Shakespearean dances. One of our Administrators, Amy Schmidt studied Shakespearean dance for her thesis project, and finds great joy in sharing it with young people. Here is a link to our event on FB

Celtic Ball Registration Wraps Up – Largest Dance Ever!

The December Ball is just about full! Not only that but this will be, by far, the largest dance yet! Get ready for what we hope will be a fantastic day!


If you haven’t registered yet, please email [email protected] first to see if there are tickets left. Registration closes firmly on Tuesday November 30th.
